The Pain of Unquiet Evenings

Restlessness can possess you like a vice during the night. Every murmuration becomes amplified, every shadow takes on here a threatening form. You toss and turn, your thoughts swirling, desperate for some elusive tranquility. Sleep, once a gentle haven, has become a distant fantasy. The hours crawl by, each one an eternity of agony.

We must face/confront/stand against the emptiness/void/terror, and discover/remember/unearth the resilient/unyielding spirit that lies within/deep inside/at our core.

The Heavy Blanket of Insomnia

Craving for Sweet Oblivion

The clutch of oblivion was a siren's call, a gentle promise of escape. To fade in its embrace was to quell the incessant noise of existence. The life's sharp edges blurred under the lure of its calm.

To truly crave oblivion was to plead for a temporary respite from the cruelty of being.
